My name is Shelli Sebring and I am the artist behind the Almost Babies Nursery. I am 39 years old and a stay at home Mom to two wonderful boys (19 & 6). I have been married for 16 years and live in the country in my dream home. We live on 2.25 acres with 2 horses & 3 dogs.

I became involved with the art of reborning in 2000 after experiencing infertility issues while trying to conceive this beautiful little boy you see sitting in my lap.   After several years with no luck, I really needed some cuddle therapy! About that time I began searching the internet for "Life Like" dolls. I came across my first reborn baby doll, It was by an artist that created the H2O babies. These babies were, to the best of my knowledge, the very first "reborn" babies.  She had stopped making them due to family problems, but I just HAD to have one.  I contacted this artist and asked for some advise on where and how to get started. That was all she wrote! I was hooked! Over the years I feel I have grown along with the art of reborning.  It is amazing how much it has evolved in 8 years!
